An account of the proceedings of Captain Nelson of His Majesty's ship Boreas, relative to the illegal trade carried on between the Americans & the British West India Islands, ca. 1787.

Narrative regarding Nelson's time in the British West Indies (1784-1787) and his efforts to enforce the British Navigation Acts which required that imports to England and her colonies had to be in English ships. It begins with his arrival in Barbados in June 1784 and finding the bay "full of Americans."
